Ugo holds a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University, where he earned a Ph.D. in Management on the topic of family business divestment and taught from 1998 to 2024 Business Strategy and Small and Medium Enterprise Strategy.
For twenty-five years he has conducted numerous training courses and consulting projects at SDA Bocconi on the topics of strategic positioning analysis and growth paths with particular reference to family business.
In 2005 he was in Boston first as Visiting Professor at Babson College Center for Entreprenurship and then at Harvard Business School, where he attended the International Teaching Program (ITP).
After teaching Economic Value Theory at the University of Verona between 2006 and 2011, since 2012 he has been an Aggregate Professor at the Catholic University of Milan, where he teaches Business Economics and Budgeting.
He is Senior Lecturer at the ALTIS Graduate School of Sustainable Management at Cattolica University, where in 2015 he designed and the Master in Accounting, Auditing and Sustainability Reporting, for which he is in charge of the scientific and didactic coordination.
He has assisted a variety of m&a processes in different sectors (furniture, mechanics, health and personal care, textile), through which he has developed specific professionalism in management consulting and company valuation.
